Want to automatically share your BadPups video uploads to your BlueSky account? Here’s a simple guide to generate your BlueSky app password (also known as a connection code) and link it to your BadPups account.

Don’t worry, your code is stored safely and only used to post automatically to make your posting efforts easier. You can disconnect this integration at any time from your BadPups Account Dashboard > Integrations section.

What You’ll Need:

• A BlueSky account
• A BadPups account (and be logged in)
• 2 minutes of your time

Steps to Connect BlueSky to BadPups

1. Log In to Your BlueSky Account

Go to https://bsky.app and log in using your regular username and password.

2. Open Your Settings Menu

Click your profile picture (top-right) and select Settings from the dropdown menu or look for the settings icon.

3. Go to App Passwords

Inside the Settings page:

• Find the Privacy and Security section.
• Press on App Passwords (also known as connection codes).

4. Generate a New App Password

Press “Add App Password”, give it a name (e.g., “BadPups Autoposter”), and press Next. Leave the checkbox for DM access unchecked, we don’t need this.

A new app password will appear only once. Copy it immediately. Press done.

5. Log In to Your BadPups Account Dashboard

Visit https://badpups.com/lite/account-dashboard#integrations and log in if you’re not already.

6. Go to to Integrations tab > Social Autoposter section

• Find the BlueSky text field under Social Autposter on the Integrations tab.
• Paste the App Password (also known as connection code) you copied in step 4 from BlueSky.
• The code should look like this (example only): dsj3-df2c-8nvv-vhnb

7. Press “Save Social Connection Codes”

Scroll to the bottom of the form and hit the Save button.

You should see the page refresh and a success message appear, confirming your code was saved.

🎉 That’s it!

Your BlueSky account is now connected. When you upload videos to BadPups, your BlueSky profile will automatically share the link and title and related video details.

💡 Tips

• Do not reuse your App Password anywhere else.
• You can always revoke an app password from BlueSky’s settings if needed or clear it from the Integrations section on BadPups – if you do either of these the BlueSky autoposting will stop working.
