Terms used on this page

• “we”, “our”, “BadPups” – Refers to BadPups Entertainment (“BadPups”), the owner of this website.
• “ID” – Short for Identity / Identification, referring to legal documents, cards, and items recognized by your country that can be used for government-satisfactory proof of a person’s identity.
• “ID Verify”, “ID Verification”, “ID Check” – Refers to the process of inspecting a person’s identity documents for the purpose of confirming the person is who they say they are. This process is required for legal compliance for access to age restricted content and services, and access to financial services, such as receiving and accepting payments.
• “Platform” – Refers to the BadPups website, https://badpups.com, and any other site, service, feature, group, and similar owned and/or managed by BadPups.
• “Users” – Refers to a person who uses the BadPups platform.
• “AI” – Stands for Artificial Intelligence. In the context of this policy, AI is referring to the use of computer-assisted human-like machines. We have no control over any 3rd party accredited ID verification provider’s use of AI (if any).
• “Payment processors” – Financial service providers that handle card and other monetary transactions.
• “Fans”, “Subscribers” – Refers to users who pay for premium content from a Content Creator.
• “Content Creator”, “Pornstars” – Refers to users who create videos and other content for their fans.

1. Why does BadPups need to ID Check people?

We are required to by banks, payment processors, and governments

1.1 For payment related services: We are legally required by Mastercard and Visa (See for yourself disclaimer: these links are general non-exhaustive summaries or news of requirements), the overarching controllers of the payment processing industry to verify the identity of people who use certain parts of our platform, and/or access the ability to accept, receive, and make payments. These ID checks are part of strict requirements set for all businesses and organizations who are involved in the adult industry, and especially for those who offer payment abilities to their users. No adult platform wanting to process card payments is exempt, as you may have noticed with PornHub, OnlyFans, JustForFans, Fansly, SubscribeStar, and others.

1.2 For access to adult content: We are legally required by the government in your country to restrict access to certain parts of the BadPups platform from people unless they undergo an ID check. This is common in the adult industry, as you would have likely encountered if browsing major other adult content sites. Examples of future laws that may be in place in the future:

• Arizona, USA (May 2025): https://azmirror.com/briefs/arizona-joins-growing-list-of-states-requiring-id-for-online-porn-access/
• It is common for lawmakers to bring up additional porn-restricting laws over the decades. Some pass, some do not.

If additional laws like the above come into force in the future, additional cases for the need for an ID check will apply, per these laws.

1.3. To ensure our users are adults: BadPups is an adults-only platform. Just like PornHub, some parts of our platform require ID verification, beyond website age gates and related protections. Minors are prohibited from using our platform.

2. Who Needs to be ID Checked

We require an ID check for a person who will access or use the following service(s), feature(s), and/or area(s) of our platform:

2.1. Access to Private NSFW Social Communities: Including the BadPups NSFW Telegram groups, and BadPups Discord server.
2.2. Content Creators and Fans accessing BadPups Premium services: Including subscribing to a content creator, or being a content creator who accepts payments from fans/subscribers (e.g., paid videos, subscriptions).
2.3. Any Other User as required by BadPups Staff or to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including suspicious activity reviews and ongoing compliance. We are reguarlly audited by our banks / payment processors.

3. ID Check Options

We offer three ways to complete the ID verification process:

3.1. ✅ Staff-Managed ID Checks: Free to users. Conducted directly by BadPups staff per our ID Verification data handling as listed on this page.

• To get ID checked by BadPups Staff, you will be informed when you need an ID check. For example on entry to ID check restricted area(s) of the BadPups platform and social communities.
• NOTE: BadPups Staff cannot ID Check their friends, family, parners, colleagues, or anyone with a conflict of interest. In this situation, the staff member will need to notify another staff member to do the ID check, or you can reach out to another staff member. This is to prevent situations where this policy may be relaxed given the person-to-person relationship.

3.2. ✅ Third-Party ID Verification: Verify your identity with an external secure ID well-known verification provider (a cost is incurred for a check, so until we make enough money to cover these costs easily, you will be required to pay for this check in advance). If there are any issues with the automated or technology assisted 3rd party verification provider, we and you will need to work with them to resolve it in order to complete your ID check. No refunds.

• To get ID checked by a 3rd party accredited ID verification provider:
  • If you are being asked by BadPups Staff for an ID check, you can request to have your check done via a 3rd party (we will provide the available providers).
  • If you are trying to access an ID check restricted area of the BadPups platform, available ID check options will be listed for you to select from.

3.3. ✅ Reuse Your Pre-Existing ID Verification from another platform: Avoid the ID check process all over again by confirming your ownership of an account part of our approved platforms list below. To verify ownership of an external pre-existing platform, you need to do something (like send a unique message we send you) to prove beyond doubt that you own the account.

• NOTE: When providing the platform, you must provide the full URL of your account on that platform to our staff. You cannot use shortened URLs, or URLs shorteners, redirecting URLs, or link grouping pages like LinkTree.

ℹ️ Why can’t I pass other ID Check types with other platforms I’ve been verified on? Banks and Payment processors do not deem other platforms as a sufficient verification method for stricter checks.

⚠️ Online Safety: Beware of impersonation of BadPups Staff. If you are being contacted by someone claiming to be a staff member, stop, and visit this page to verify if the staff member is real and legitimate.

4. ID Check Process

You can verify your identity by providing the following based on the type of ID check you need:

4.1. Basic ID Check

Allows you to: Access BadPups NSFW Social Communities (e.g. Telegram, Discord, etc).

Not suitable for: Access to BadPups Premium areas, as it does not meet the stricter requirements set by our banks and payment processors (refer to Section 1.1). You must do a Standard or Creator ID Check to access these other areas and services.

How the Basic ID Check works:

• Conducted by BadPups Staff, no cost. A human will check your ID.
• You will provide a photo and/or video containg the following:
  • 4.1.1. Visible face (your face)
  • 4.1.2. The current date (in your timezone)
  • 4.1.3. Your @username for the platform you are applying for at the time (e.g. BadPups.com website, Telegram, Discord, etc)
  • 4.1.4. Your ID document, which can be censored to remove any information EXCEPT the date of birth (DOB). The ID document must show a photo of your face. The only exceptions to the DOB and photo requirements are if no ID documentation available in your country has these features (this should be very unlikely, and BadPups Staff are required to notify their manager of the situation before completing the check).
• Acceptable documents are to be from the list of ‘Accepted Forms of ID’ in Section 5 below, or from an official government website in your country (show the page to the BadPups Staff member if you are asked).
• All photo and video content must be in full color without any modifications, filters, edits, or changes from the original content. Lighting and/or shadows and/or other objects must not obstruct any part of your face or ID document.
• All documents and content must be uploaded around the same time, or right after creation.
• Content provided must be safe for work (no nudity or adult content).

ℹ️ We prefer videos because this ID check is done manually and needs to prove your identity, but also stop the potential use of AI for a fraudulent check.

4.2. Standard ID Check

Allows you to: Access all areas restricted by ID checks / ID verification, including BadPups NSFW Social Communities (e.g. Telegram, Discord, etc), BadPups Premium areas, and any others in the future. If you do this ID check type, you don’t need to do another ID check later as it meets regulatory requirements.

How the Standard ID Check works:

• Conducted by BadPups Staff (no cost, done by a human), OR, an accredited 3rd party secure ID Verification Provider (cost involved to you).

• For checks conducted by BadPups Staff; you will provide
• PART A: a video containg the following:
  • 4.2.A.1. Visible face (your face), and at least down to your shoulders in frame
  • 4.2.A.2. Your ID document, which MUST NOT BE CENSORED. The ID document must show a photo of your face, and if applying for access to BadPups Premium areas your name on your ID must match the legal name (not shown publically) on your BadPups.com account. The ID document must be FULLY IN FRAME and CLEARLY READABLE (no light reflection). If you have a bad quality camera, use another device.
  • 4.2.A.3. The following movement in the video:
    • 4.2.A.3.1. Start with showing your face, then move the camera closer and further away from your face.
    • 4.2.A.3.2. Turn your head side to side, first slowly, then again but faster. You only need to do each one once.
    • 4.2.A.3.3. Pickup / show your ID document and put it next to or below your face so our staff can see your face and your ID that has your face on it in the same video. Do not stop, edit, or cut the video – include all movement.
    • 4.2.A.3.4. Put the ID document down, filming where you put it down (we don’t need to see your space, only you putting down the ID – just point your camera at the ID or show us you placing your ID down on a surface from a 3rd person point of view (like someone is watching you put the ID down).
• PART B: photos of the following:
  • 4.2.B.1. Photo of your face including your head and shoulders. This photo must be in the same setting as your video. Do not edit this photo, do not use any filters, or modify this photo in any way.
  • 4.2.B.2. Photo of the front of your ID document. Do not edit this photo in any way.
  • 4.2.B.3. Photo of the back of your ID document. Do not edit this photo in any way.

• Acceptable documents are to be from the list of ‘Accepted Forms of ID’ in Section 5 below, or from an official government website in your country (show the page to the BadPups Staff member if you are asked).
• Content provided must be safe for work (no nudity or adult content).
• All photo and video content must be in full color without any modifications, filters, edits, or changes from the original content. Lighting and/or shadows and/or other objects must not obstruct any part of your face or ID document.
• All documents and content must be uploaded around the same time, or right after creation.
• BadPups Staff will provide instructions and support to complete this process.

ℹ️ Why is so much involved in this ID check? This ID check is done manually and needs to prove your identity, but also stop the potential use of AI for a fraudulent check.

• For checks conducted by an accredited 3rd party secure ID Verification Provider; you will be instructed what documents, photos and/or videos, and other details you need to provide. The provider’s platform will guide you through the process and your completed check results (check passed or failed outcome) will be sent to us. Content provided must be safe for work (no nudity or adult content).

⚠️ Access Restrictions: People who live in countries and other jurisdictions on our Service Restrictions (Prohibited Users) policy page will be affected for service(s) and feature(s) that result from access given after completing a Standard ID Check.

4.3. Creator ID Check

4.3.1. The Creator ID Check is the same as the Standard ID Check, with the extra addition of matching your identity to your bank account.

• This extra step is because Banks and Payment Processors we work with require verification that your name and identity matches the details they have for your account. This is neccessary to provide payouts to your bank account, and prevent fraud.
• For clarity: The name you provide on your ID documents must match your bank account details. If they do not because of a name or identity change, see Section 6 ‘Name or Identity Changes‘.

4.3.2. Additional documents we may need for Creator ID Checks:

• 4.3.2.1. A bank statement or letter (with the bank’s letterhead) from your bank that shows the same name on your bank account as written on your ID documents. If your name does not match because of a name or identity change, see Section 6 ‘Name or Identity Changes‘.

Note: Payments will be rejected by our and your bank if details do not match.

⚠️ People who can’t pass a Creator ID check: People who live in countries and other jurisdictions on our Service Restrictions (Prohibited Users) policy page will fail a Creator ID Check as we cannot offer the resulting service(s) to Prohibited Users.

5. Accepted Forms of ID

The ID we can accept depends on your country of residence. We follow local regulatory requirements and generally accept documents of the following. If your country or ID document is not listed below, we can accept it if you can show us a link to your government’s website that lists acceptable forms of ID for government ID check processes (e.g. to open a bank account, get a drivers licence, apply for welfare/social security/government benefits/etc).

🪪 For Standard and Creator ID Checks (for access to receiving payments / BadPups Premium areas) your ID MUST show at LEAST your LEGAL NAME and a PHOTO of you.

ℹ️ If you have a different name and/or gender, and/or photo on your ID, see Section 6 ‘Name or Identity Changes‘.

We accept government-issued photo ID that clearly shows:

• Full name
• Date of birth
• Photo
• ID expiry date
• Nationality or issuing country

We may request additional documents (e.g., proof of address) to meet local compliance needs.

6. Name or Identity Changes

6.1 For Basic and Standard ID Checks

• 6.1.1. Your current valid ID documents will be sufficient, provide they meet the satification requirements of the other sections of this policy.

6.2 For Creator ID Checks

If your legal name or identity details have ever changed (e.g., through marriage or legal name or gender or other change):

• 6.2.1. You must provide supporting documents (e.g., marriage certificate, legal name / gender change order) alongside your primary ID, that satisifies the same requirements as set per your country’s government for name or identity changes (refer to your government’s website on proving identity with a name or identity/gender change).
• 6.2.2. For instances where your photo doesn’t match you, it is ok if your hair has changes or minor changes as expected with life. For major changes, typically associated with gender changes (transgender persons), we may require additional documentation – see above for name / identity changes.

Why?

The payment services (Banks, Payment processors) that we work with require verification that your identity matches the details that will be used for payment related activities. Specifically this is:

• 6.2.1.1. That your identity matches the identity and details associated with the bank account we pay your earnings out to. This is to prevent fraud. If you have used financial services, you would have encountered a similar process.

🏳️‍⚧️ For transgender persons (and anyone else with a name or identity change): We apologize for the need to supply additional document(s) which may ‘deadname’ you, though we are required to confirm your identity based on government and industry set regulations and laws.

7. How We Handle ID Data and Other Data

It is of the utmost importance to us that your data is handled safely, securely, and privately. We understand concerns of some people not liking associating their real life identity with their online identity in kink/certain spaces, which is why we do the following to protect you:

7.1. Secure Transmission & Handling

• Staff-Managed ID Checks: Conducted through Telegram DMs, Telegram Secret Chats (your choice for Basic ID Checks), and our official contact page (you can’t send your ID this way until we reply back to you).
• Third-Party ID Verification: Conducted via the third-party’s secure online verification platform.

7.2. Secure Storage & Outcome-Only Retention

• We do not store ID documents.
• Staff or the third-party provider will review your ID and record the outcome only (e.g., “ID check passed,” “ID check failed,” who attempted the check, and relevant notes).
• Once the check is complete, ID images or videos provided to our staff will be securely deleted. Third-party providers manage their own data retention policies in line with data protection standards.

7.3. Exceptions to Section 7.2’s Data Deletion and Non-Storage

• The only times an exception to the non-storage of your ID documents and related ID verification proof files will occur is where:
  • Banks, and/or payment processors, and/or regulatority authorities who we deal with and set the requirements, require us to keep this data for their auditing purposes (for example: for the current or last month’s compliance checks). After the required storage period, data is securely deleted. All data is kept securely and separate to our website.
  • There is evidence or suspected evidence of a fraudulent attempt to pass an ID check (for example edited content, documents, or the use of AI). The data obtained will be sent to the relevant authority(s) and/or regulator(s), and the offending user will be banned.
  • Any ID document and sensitive data we need to store will be stored securely and separate to other information for added security.

8. Compliance with Regional and International Laws

Our Identity Verification Policy, and our Privacy Policy is intended to comply with data protection and identity verification standards all around the world, including:

• EU & EEA: GDPR (EU) and local KYC / age verification obligations.
• UK: UK GDPR and local identity verification practices.
• USA: State and federal guidelines for identity verification (including the FTC’s general consumer protection).
• Australia: Privacy Act 1988 and applicable KYC / age verification.
• Canada: PIPEDA and relevant KYC rules.
• Other Countries: We follow local laws and best practices for identity verification.

We only process your personal data for the purpose of verifying your identity and ensuring compliance with our community rules and legal obligations.
