Want to automatically share your BadPups video uploads to your Telegram group or channel? Here’s a simple guide to generate your Telegram URL and add our BadPups Creator Feed Bot and link it to your BadPups account.

Don’t worry, your code is stored safely and only used to post automatically to make your posting efforts easier. You can disconnect this integration at any time from your BadPups Account Dashboard > Integrations section.

What You’ll Need:

• A Telegram account
• A Telegram group or Telegram channel (that you are the owner/admin of with permissions to add new users)
• A BadPups account (and be logged in)
• 2 minutes of your time

Steps to Connect Your Telegram Channel or Group to BadPups

1. Pick the Telegram Group or Channel you want to connect your account to

• In the group/channel you want to use, first you must add: @BadPupsOfficial_CreatorFeedBot (copy and paste this username) to your group/channel.
  • If you are adding the bot into a group, simply add it to the group.
  • If you are adding the bot into a channel, you must make the bot an admin with the permissions to send messages (post to this channel).

2. Get the Telegram URL for your group/channel

• Send a message in your group/channel
• Then right-click / tap and hold until you get the option to ‘copy message link’

3. Log In to Your BadPups Account Dashboard

Visit https://badpups.com/lite/account-dashboard#integrations and log in if you’re not already.

4. Go to to Integrations tab > Social Autoposter section

• Find the Telegram URL text field under Social Autposter on the Integrations tab.
• Paste the Telegram URL you copied from step 2.
• The URL should look similar to this: https://t.me/c/387529385325/832 (example only)
  • It’s ok if the url has different numbers or more slashes etc, this is fine

5. Set the Telegram connection type

• Below the Telegram URL field, pick the Telegram Connection Type. Your options are:
  • Group: Telegram group where people can all send messages. 
  • Group with chat topics: Different chats inside the same group to send messages. 
  • Channel: Many people can join a channel but only admins can send messages.
  • To learn which is which if you are unsure, see the Telegram Documentation
• You must pick the correct option for the bot to work. If you just made a group, it would be a regular group. If you have a group and turned on ‘topics’ then you have a group with chat topics.
• NOTE: At the time of writing this guide we weren’t able to copy a message link from a group newly made… it may have been a Telegram bug. If you can, great. If you cannot, then change your group to add topics and then post a new message, copy the message link/url and paste per step 4 above.

6. Press “Save Social Connection Codes”

Scroll to the bottom of the form and hit the Save button.

You should see the page refresh and a success message appear, confirming your code was saved.

7. Press “Test Connections” button

Use this to ensure you setup everything right. After pressing the test button, a test message will appear in your Telegram group/channel, if all working ok.

🎉 That’s it!

Your Telegram group/channel is now connected. When you upload videos to BadPups, your Telegram group/channel will automatically have a new message sent sharing the link and title and related video details.

💡 Tips

• The bot will only work in one group or channel you have connected.
• You can always disable this integration by clearing it from the Integrations section on BadPups – if you do either of these the autoposting will stop working.
