Pup play 101 – What is the world of pups, handlers, & kinksters?

Pup play is the fun, kinky, or platonic world of putting on puppy themed gear (pup hoods, tails, paws, collars, etc) and acting like a dog. It can be sexual for people, or sex free. It can be relaxing, fun, enjoyable, and a great way to free yourself, explore, and forget about your adult responsibilities. The opposite of pups are handlers, who lead, and look after a pup. Handlers can wear various gear too. These pups and handlers can hang out on their own, or meet up at social meets and gatherings. There are social pup events and competitions, where fun games and socializing occur. There’s something for everyone. There’s also a lot more than this, so it’s best to read the below to get all the details.

We’ll write out a full article of our own soon, however the below articles do a good job at explaining the basics. There are also plenty of other articles on the internet, a few are linked below. We’d recommend you read from sites that are owned by members of the pup community as they are most likely to detail the true experience of the world of pup play and will present it from people who are actually in the space, not just reporting on it.
